At RoomsRelay Hire, each individual user takes the reins in negotiating their work arrangement. We provide a seamless service to connect hiring managers with top-tier contract-based employees in the industry.

Can I be hired full-time by a company?
Absolutely! Our goal is to connect hotel brands and owners with top talent. If your contract proves successful, we support transitioning to a full-time role. In this case, we charge the hiring company a fee.

How long is the commitment to work?
Enjoy the flexibility of being your own boss with RoomsRelay Hire. Set your own hours, rates, and even negotiate additional perks such as remote work options or travel allowances.
Is there a guide to how much I should charge?
Our recommendation is to base your rates on your previous full-time income, adding a premium to account for benefits like healthcare. Contract work typically commands higher rates, offering hiring managers the flexibility they need. Use your annual income divided by 2080 hours to establish a baseline hourly rate.
How do I receive payment for my work?
We've partnered with Stripe as our trusted payment provider. Once the hiring manager's credit card is charged, the funds are swiftly deposited directly into your bank account. At RoomsRelay Hire, we don't hold any funds in transit, ensuring a smooth and secure payment process.
What currency do you use?
All pricing is in USD.
Is there an upfront or membership fee to use RoomsRelay Hire?
No upfront fees or monthly subscriptions! We operate on a fee per hire.
What is the fee?
Upon each successful contract (task force) hire, the talent pays a fee of 4%, while the hiring manager pays a fee of 5% of the contract value.
The employer pays a negotiated fee for a successful permanent hire, while the candidate does not incur any fees when hired on a permanent basis.
Will someone else with my experience and location be allowed to operate on RoomsRelay Hire?
Absolutely! As our consultant community grows, you may find others offering similar expertise. This diversity enriches our platform and expands opportunities for everyone.
How is RoomsRelay and my listing marketed?
We actively promote our platform through esteemed industry partners like HSMAI, owners associations, tourism boards, and investment conferences. Additionally, we engage directly with hiring managers on LinkedIn to ensure maximum visibility.
I have a colleague who would be a great fit for RoomsRelay Hire.

Is there a referral fee?
We want to reward you for helping us build and grow RoomsRelay Hire.
We will pay $25 for every hotel industry peer you recruit and help onboard.
To be eligible for the referral payout:

You must have your RoomsRelay Hire profile & Stripe connection setup. All payouts will be sent through RoomsRelay Hire.

Each referred consultant, task force, or freelancer must have at least five years of experience working in the hotel industry.

I am not sure if my current work arrangement allows me to work other jobs.

I am not comfortable providing my banking information to Stripe. Is there another option to post a listing?
Yes, you can use the listing type "List your services without daily rate and availability"
A Stripe account is required to receive payment.
